There are many recreational offerings at Ponderosa State Park for everyone to enjoy including hiking, mountain biking, resting on the beach, swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, identifying wildflowers, nature walks, cross country skiing, snowshoeing or taking in the amazing view at the point of the peninsula. Ponderosa State Park does charge a nominal day use fee for any motorized vehicle entering the park. All vacation properties including cabins, homes and condos in this category, are located within approximately one mile of the entrance to Ponderosa State Park.
