Bald Mountain, commonly referred to as Baldy, offers world class skiing and snowboarding in the town of Ketchum. The mountain is located about one and a half miles from the Sun Valley Village. Bald Mountain offers two base areas, one is located on the eastern side in the River Run area of Ketchum and the other is on the northern side in Warm Springs. In general, the lodging accommodations in Warm Springs are closer to the lifts than in River Run. All lodging properties and vacation rentals in this category are located within approximately a quarter of a mile, by road or ski trail, from the either the River Run or Warm Springs base area of Bald Mountain.
