About  Burley:  Burley is the county seat of Cassia County and center of this prosperous area. Located halfway between Salt Lake City and Boise, Burley is a natural stopping place for travelers on Interstate 84.

Agriculture is the predominant industry. Enjoy acres of public lands that provide hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, horseback riding and bicycling opportunities. Also the Snake River provides boating, boat racing, water skiing and fishing. Nearby Pomerelle Ski Resort provides early and deep snow for snow skiing and snowmobiling. The surrounding mountains offer paragliding and hang-gliding. The City of Rocks National Reserve is a unique area and provides pioneer trails, recreation and scenic drives. Also enjoy the Burley Municipal Golf Course and the Cassia County Museum located in Burley is a must to visit.
