A room with amazing views! As inviting as all of the outdoors are, surrounding the Sun Valley Lodge, the panoramic views and fireplace (only in some rooms) in this suite are likely to tempt you to lounge on the terrace, enjoy the fire, soak in the over-sized tub and take your time about leaving your private vacation residence.
A granite entry way sets the scene for this friendly and warmly decorated elegant suite. The bedroom features a King bed with a handsome upholstered head-board and flat-screen HD TV. The en suite bathroom features granite floors, walls, double-sink vanity, large tub and spacious walk-in shower. A classically contemporary feel sets the tone for the sitting area complete with a fold-out sofa. The sitting area also features another flat screen HD TV. All suites offer safes, refrigerator, free WIFI and an iHome clock radio/charging dock.
Terrace Suites range in size from 720-800 square feet.

Built in 1936, the historical Sun Valley Lodge's elegance from another time lives on. Recently redecorated, Averell Harriman's interpretation of "roughing it in luxury" remains steadfast. Enjoy upscale accommodations and fine dining in a majestic four-story hotel while your camera captures the beautiful and breathtaking view of the surrounding mountain range.
Each of the Lodge's 148 rooms were extensively remodeled with new furniture, French country interiors, marble appointed bathrooms and flat screen televisions.
Other services and amenities offered in the Lodge include: The Lodge Dining Room, Gretchen's, the Duchin Lounge and Bar, Sun Valley Salon & Day Spa, massage center, sauna and heated outdoor swimming pool, workout facility, bowling alley, game room, room service and gift shop. The Sun Valley Resort is located about a mile and a half from the River Run Ski Lodge on Bald Mountain. Make use of the Lodge Concierge when looking for recommendations on where to eat or other activities around the area - they can help make reservations for you!
The Sun Valley outdoor Ice Rink is located just adjacent to the Lodge with ice skating year round! In addition, there is an indoor rink where you can catch an exciting Sun Valley Sun's hockey game during their season. The Sun Valley Pavillion is also close by and plays host to a variety of concerts and activities during the summer months sure to please anyone.
Resort Fee covers: airport shuttles, high-speed internet access in all rooms and condominiums (wired and or WiFi), local phone calls, parking (self & valet), swimming pools, fitness centers, newspapers (Hotels, Lodge Apartments & Cottages), and overnight ski storage at River Run and Warm Springs (Winter Season).
The Resort will be undertaking a major renovation starting in April of 2014. The Lodge building will be closed between September 1 and June 15, 2015 in order to renovate the interior of the Lodge and its rooms. The goal is to keep the wonderful feeling of the Lodge while at the same time providing the modern comforts and conveniences that our guests expect, fitting the Lodge for the next 75 years of fun in the sun!

Sun Valley Lodge Lodge Terrace Suite Cancellation and other Policies
Check In/Out Time: 4:00 pm/11:00 am
Check in Location: 24 Hour front desk.
Cancellation Policy: A deposit equal to one night's lodging is required at booking. For all ski package reservations, 50% deposit required at booking. All cancellations are subject to $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations must be received 30 days prior to arrival. If cancellation is made less than 30 days prior to arrival, the deposit will be forfeited. For holiday periods: Full payment due 90 days prior to arrival. All cancellations are subject to $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations must be received 90 days prior to arrival. If cancellation is made between 90 and 31 days from arrival, the first nights lodging is forfeited. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are subject to full forfeiture of reservation. (May vary with packages)
