Hells Canyon Jet Boat Trips offer fishing trips on the Snake River in Hells Canyon, Main Salmon River east of Riggins and the Lower Salmon River down stream from White Bird. Steelhead fishing on the Salmon River is September through March and on the Snake River September through April. Sturgeon, trout and bass are open your round with April through October being the best months. All Sturgeon fishing is Catch & Release only. Fishing is from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm PST.

The Hells Canyon Jet Boat Trips provide tours in Hells Canyon, the deepest gorge in North America. Their meeting point, on the Salmon River, is located 17 miles from Hells Canyon Marina, which is in the center of Hells Canyon.
The Hells Canyon Dam Tour is located up stream from the Marina on the Wild River Section, 32 miles to the Hells Canyon Dam. On this 6 hour tour you will see the best of Hells Canyon. You will jet boat through all of the Wild River Section and Natural Wilderness Preserve area. This tour begins at the Pittsburgh Landing Marina and takes you safely up stream in a comfortable, not crowded 28 foot or 36 foot twin engine Jet Boat through all the big whitewater rapids, through the deepest most rugged part of the canyon, all the way to the Hells Canyon Dam (subject to water levels) and the Visitor Center. Stops include Kirkwood Historical Museum, Sheep Creek Cabin, Bernard Creek and MacGafee cabin, the Ancient Indian Petroglyphs, and the Visitor Center at the Dam. Wildlife to look for and see include Big Horn Sheep, Elk, Deer, Bear, Bald Eagles, Otters and numerous birds. You will stop for lunch, swim at a sandy beach if you like, and enjoy the gorgeous scenery, exotic rock formations and the beauty of the canyon.
The Scenic River Tour is located downstream from the Marina, 36 miles to Cache Creek and the Oregon/Washington border. This 5 hour tour begins at the Pittsburgh Landing Marina and will take you downstream towards the confluences of the Imnaha River and the Salmon River. You will stop at Dug Bar and the Historical Nez Perce river crossing. You will see exotic rock formations, wildlife and beautiful scenery. Enjoy lunch along the riverside at a sandy beach, take a swim if you like and continue on up the Salmon River to Eye of the Needle Rapids. This tour includes lunch, snacks, water and beverages. Restrooms are located at the Marina and at Dug Bar.
