Sun Valley and Ketchum lodging is quite diverse. From less expensive hotels to some of the most luxurious accommodations in Idaho. The most popular places to stay are the Sun Valley Lodge or Sun Valley Inn. The newest hotel, The Limelight Hotel, also offers luxury lodging in Downtown Ketchum.
Close to slopes, town or Sun Valley? This is the most common question we get from skiers. River Run and Warm Springs offer the closest properties to the lifts. The only true ski in/ski out properties are in Warm Springs, but there are plenty of walk in and walk out properties. If you want to be close to the majority of the shops and restaurants, choose Ketchum or River Run. The Town of Sun Valley, about 1.5 miles from Ketchum offers hotel, condominium and cottage options and is closer to Dollar Mountain (and further from the "main/big" mountain). Sun Valley also offers dining and shopping options. All three areas are connected by a very convenient free bus system.
