Following are the XC, Nordic, classic, snowshoe, and snow bike (fat tire bikes) grooming reports for the McCall area (including Donnelly). Reports are provided by each of the areas.
Updated 12/14/2024: We received about 2 inches of heavy snow Friday night. I rolled all the trails Saturday morning mostly trying to get the grass to lay down on the hill and meadow trails. I''ll be out rolling periodically during this storm cycle but probably won't start with the Ginzu until next week if the conditions allow so check back here for updatexs.

Updated 12/1/2024: We have very low snow conditions at Jug as of December 1st 2024.
With this in mind we have started a couple of projects that will affect our trail system until we receive snow. There is a fire wise project being conducted on our lower hill side that is affecting both Upper and Lower Hoot. We hope that this project is completed in the next week or so, then we can begin packing and smoothing out the lower trails if we get more snow. Another project that is underway is a forestry thinning project that is affecting our upper trails. This project is scheduled to conclude before the holidays, and grooming will follow shortly after.
Please stay out of these areas until work is completed for safety reasons.
Updated 11/26/2024: The grooming is on hold while the park does a restoration project on 38 acres inside of the easy does it trail. We hope to have this work done by mid December and then we can transition into grooming the Nordic trails with additional snow.
Please visit the parks website for more information on the restoration project.
