$59 → Damage Waiver Fee: This waiver fee will cover accidental damages to the unit during a stay up to $1000-$3000. If the damage to the property exceeds covered amount, the guest is responsible for the balance and the pre-authorized credit card we have on file will be charged. All damages must be reported to manager by each guest immediately in order for the waiver to cover the damage. This Damage Waiver does NOT cover intentional damage, theft, or excessive cleaning, or any damage or flea infestation caused by a pet.
$25 → Pet Fee: Pet fee is per dog/per night. Two dogs max (prior approval required for more than 2 dogs).

Description:
Mountain Joy Cabin is a pet-friendly woodland charmer nestled in private wooded acreage in a quiet neighborhood abundant in resident wildlife that forages throughout the day. Live, lounge, and dine in surroundings bright with natural light. Ward off the chill on winter days and summer evenings around the wood-burning stove. Soak in the private outdoor hot tub, or bundle up and circle around a seasonal campfire out back. Whether the weather is cooperating or not, you can always enjoy the outdoors from either of the covered front or back decks.

Oh-so-cozy accommodations for up to eight guests in three comfortably-appointed bedrooms and two bathrooms. Downstairs is the master bedroom with a queen bed and backyard access. Guests will also find a hall access tub/shower combo bathroom.

Upstairs are the two guest bedrooms - one with a queen, full, and twin bed, and the second guest bedroom has one queen and one twin bed. The upstairs hall access bathroom features a spacious shower.

The well-equipped kitchen has plenty of room for a chef or two without getting in each other's way. Serve up a great meal at the counter, dining room table, or out back al fresco during the summer months.

The neighborhood's paved roads make for comfortable walking or biking outdoors, and guests are just a quarter mile to the local rail trail trailhead - a great spot for walking, biking, or Nordic skiing. Thrill seekers will find The Activity Barn sledding hill less than a half-mile up the road. Downtown McCall shopping and dining can be found four-and-a-half miles north of the property - close enough for convenience, but far enough away to ensure peace, quiet, and wooded privacy for guests during their vacation.

This property has access to the Payette Riverwalk - 41 acres of riverfront property located at 250 Moonridge Drive. This land is protected under a conservation easement held by the Payette Land Trust, which protects the river from development, conserves wildlife habitat, and allows responsible access to the river. The Payette Riverwalk is now open to the public for bike and pedestrian traffic - no motor vehicles. People can fish, paddle board, or float the Payette for two hours by launching at the Red Bridge and taking out at Moonridge. 5 vehicle parking is available, and it is just a short walk from the Mountain Joy property!

Parking Notes: There is a deep, narrow driveway that can accommodate several rigs and a trailer.

Things to Note: Although the property has a deer lick and scatters cracked corn for the birds, please keep the wildlife wild and healthy and do not feed, and please do not allow pets to chase the wildlife. The property is located in a bear habitat - please be sure to clean up after outdoor meals or marshmallow roasts. This home is professionally managed for quality, not "by owner".
