Darby Wind Cave

| 2.6 miles one-way
Elevation gain: 1,800 feet
Maximum elevation: 8,940 feet
An interesting cave by Darby Canyon is the major draw to this popular west slope hike, closely followed by intermittent waterfalls splashing down the canyon rim along with impressive displays of wildflowers. The Wind Cave snakes through the Darby Formation, a thick layer of 350 million year-old dolomite. The trail head is about 30 minutes from Grand Targhee Resort just outside the town of Driggs.
Devil's Stairs

| 3.9 miles one way
Elevation gain: 1,565 feet
Maximum elevation: 8,520 feet
Not for the meek hiker, the trail switchbacks its way up to a notch created by a stream spilling off the limestone cliffs of the Teton Canyon Shelf. The view of the canyon below you is unbeatable with Alaska Basin to the east and Battleship Mt. rising in the northeast. The trailhead is just 10 miles from the resort.
Table Mountain

| 12.4 miles round-trip
Elevation gain: 4,151 feet
Maximum elevation: 11,106 feet
The top of Table Mt. offers the best vantage point in the Tetons for close-up views of the massive west face of the Grand, upper reaches of Cascade Canyon, and the U-shaped glacial valleys and canyons on the west side of the Tetons. This hike is widely regarded as one of the most outstanding in the entire region. The trailhead is at the bottom of Ski Hill Road, just minutes from Grand Targhee
