We go ice skating every time we are in McCall. We get great skates and they zamboni the ice often enough to keep good quality conditions. We love it here - very affordable as well.

It was busy since we were there on a holiday weekend. Most of the kids liked it, our 7 year old was unhappy because the ice got rough really fast since there were a lot of people.

Comments:
New skates might be helpful and having a bucket for new skaters to use would have been nice. We had a first time skater that fell apart when he touched the ice. Something besides the terror of hanging on to the wall might have helped.
