Area was beautiful. Trails well marked. Lodge had great food, drinks, and a wide variety menu. This was probably the best day of our whole vacation! Would definitely return.

We tried to follow a trail map of the Galina lodge area and it lead to a dead-end. This was not at all clear - we got it from the visitor's center in between Sun Valley and Galina. The trails were not interesting - they were roads instead of trails. This was misleading for our hiking.

Comments:
2-1/2 to 3 hrs of snowshoing for a first timer was a good cardiovascular toner, but next time it will be nordic skiing. Once the snowshoing started there was no way to take a short cut and head back to Lodge to rest the creaking joints. However, the guide was terrific (and in much better shape than us tho 30+ yrs younger). Very gemeutlich place as are all personnel.
