Walk, get on a bus, then walk again, all this hauling skis and walking in ski boots. The hotel was quiet and wonderful. The Thanksgiving buffet was scrumptious. Skiing on the manmade snow was OK and actually better than we thought it would be. When trying to get directions to the Inn while on the road, the receptionist was not able to provide any assistance. The WiFi connection did not work. The value lfor price was much less than say even the Boulder Creek Inn in Donelly. Overall Ranking out of 5		Comments: I realize that accommations at Sun Valley are going to be expensive, but some things were lacking in the room for the price we paid. There was no in-room coffee maker, no hair dryer...the towels were luxurious, but the towel racks were hard to deal with. The TV was great, but you don't really go to Sun Valley to watch television. We couldn't find a place in the literature to have breakfast in the inn. If it was there, it wasn't obvious. I looked in the directory and didn't see a place listed to find breakfast. However, there was evidence of room service by the used dishes in front of several doors. We wandered in Ketchum, and finally had to ask a local for a place that we could find to eat breakfast. We did find the "Moose" restaurant by the Clarion Hotel, and it was very good. Ketchum could really use a full service family restaurant that is in the center of the business area. The skiing is the best in the U.S. and the old "grande dame" retains her charm and charisma - plush towels, terry robes to go to the pool (very well maintained pool facilities), cushy bedding etc. etc. We did leave a comment regarding food service within the resort - their breakfast areas need kitchen and wait staff badly.
