The guides were helpful and funny and great at calming nervousness. The ride itself was the real deal our girls were looking for: through the woods, on and off trail, up and down, over streams.... I'm a fairly experienced rider, and there was never a chance given to do anything besides a slow walk. A few times to canter uphill or something would have been a nice touch. The guide let us know that it was the first ride of the season. It would have been great to get a bit closer to the lake. The scenery was beautiful!
