Comments:
Brundage is a great ski area. The people are exceptionally friendly, the snowcat skiing is fantastic and although the resort isn't huge, it's a fun place to ski with some interesting terrain.

Brundage was great! My son broke one of his poles while skiing and the rental place let him borrow poles at no charge for 1/2 the day! The snow was great and the runs in good shape except for a little ice now and then. Lift lines were minimal and well managed. Great place to ski.

Only one window open at the ticket booth.
When we suggested to the attendant that the lines were getting long and they needed to open another window, she replied, "Oh, we don't do that". This was the weekend of the
Winter Carnival, so there were a lot of people.

We enjoyed the mountain overall. In general the staff was very friendly--especially the bag and ski check staff.
However, if you're going to have any kind of beginner with you, take advantage of the ski lesson/rental packages!
We rented, bought lift tickets, and THEN decided our daughter needed a lesson. That cost $22 more than the package. The Brundage staff was quite offended we even thought to ask about creating the package after the fact
(Even though we'd already spent almost $250 between the rental shop and lift tickets for five people.)

Great getaway from the crowds and fair skiing conditions at Bogus. The friendly staff, clean restrooms, quality food/ reasonable price and better snow makes me wish I could ski Brundage all the time!! Bogus should take some lessons from you guys!

They have a great 2 for 1 deal on Sundays if you buy gas at Texaco. Otherwise, I don't feel Brundage is a $34 mountain. InIdaho Ed. Note: There was disagreement from our office's powderhounds :-)
