Zoo Boise (5K)
More Boise Activities

Zoo Boise is open daily from 10am until 5pm, except New Year's Day, Christmas and Thanksgiving. On Thursdays during the summer, Zoo Boise gets really wild with extended hours until 9pm. Don't forget, Thursday is family day with reduced prices! For more information phone (208) 384-4260.

General Information

bulletLocation: In beautiful Julia Davis Park, off Capitol Blvd. and Myrtle.
bulletOpen daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except New Year's Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas.
Admission -  3 and under:  FREE
                  4 - 11:  $1.75
                 12 - 61:  $4.00
                 Seniors:   $2.00
bulletDuring the summer, Zoo Boise is open Thursday evenings until 9:00 p.m.
bulletFamily Day: Thursday is Family Day with special admission prices.
bulletRestrooms: Two locations, as indicated on the map
bulletFirst Aid: At the Zoo entrance.
bulletPublic Phones: Available near the Coati Cafe.
bulletLost Children: Lost children (and adults) will be escorted to the front gate.
bulletLost & Found: Any items found on the Zoo grounds are taken to the front gate admission office.
bulletWagons and Wheelchairs: Available for rent at the front gate admission office. Wheelchairs are available at no charge.
bulletFood: The Coati Cafe is open every day during spring and summer. Bite into goodies such as hot dogs or ice cream, or enjoy tempting and healthful sandwiches.
bulletGifts: The Zootique offers an assortment of wild gifts and souvenirs to fit every budget. Revenues from the shop go into zoo improvements.
bulletDrinking Fountains: Located at the restrooms as indicated on the map.
bulletAnimal Feeding Policy: The animals are on strictly controlled diets. To maintain their health, please do not feed any animals.
bulletSkate Boards, Bikes, Roller Skates: Are not permitted in the Zoo.
bulletFor Your Safety: Please stay on your side of the guard rails. Do not attempt to touch any animal. All wild animals can be dangerous
