"On Spokane River" Description: The flow of the Spokane River originates from Lake Coeur d'Alene and continues on through Spokane and northwest for about 90 miles before emptying into the Columbia River near the Grand Coulee Dam. The Spokane Centennial Trail is a great way to enjoy the Spokane River. It runs along the river from the Idaho border for 37 miles and ends at Nine Mile Falls. The trail offers a variety of recreational and picnic opportunities.
