The Snake River and Lake Walcott offer beauty and recreational opportunities. The Minidoka National Wildlife Refuge is also a great place to visit and the Oregon and California Trails are nearby. There are 3 golf courses within 20 miles of Rupert. Annual events in Rupert include a grand 4th of July celebration and Potato Fest in September.
