About  Cambridge:  Cambridge is in Washington County. It is primarily an agricultural community with dairy, cattle, and hay production. Cambridge also serves as the eastern gateway to Hells Canyon National Recreation Area. It is located on Highway 95 between Weiser and New Meadows. Cambridge lies at the base of Cuddy Mountain about 100 miles north of Boise.

Cambridge is the home of the oldest published newspaper in the state of Idaho. The Cambridge Museum provides information on the area's history from the arrival of the first settlers in 1869 through the 1930's. Displays focus on geology and farming relics, Indian life and pioneer days in Cambridge.

Annual special events for Cambridge include Hells Canyon Days during the first weekend of June and The Cambridge Rodeo and Washington County Fair during the first full week of August.
